Excellent!
I bought this book for revision purposes for my exams in June and its great for the OCR syllabus as it follows it exactly and has got everything you need for the exams including past paper questions (however no answers for these) at the end of each module (Foundation Chemistry, Chains and Rings and How Far? How Fast? modules). It has only recently been published so it is up-to-date and relevant for those doing AS level Chemistry following the OCR syllabus. The content is clearly spread out and easy to follow and and on each page there are quick questions with answers to test yourself on what you have learned. There is also a glossary with definitions you need to learn for the exams and a small section at the end called 'Mathematics in Chemistry' which gives hints when doing calculations e.g. using significant figures, units etc... Overall I would say this book is excellent both for revision purposes and for reference when doing homeworks and extra reading - buy it!

Great book =D
I just bought this item, as soon as i opened it i could see the differences between this and the chemistry 1 book. It is so much better..all the rubbish is taken out, the diagrams are necassary, labelled and colourful. The facts are perfect and it contains extra sections which are really helpful such as Mathematics and examination questions. Definately essential for Ocr Chemistry A especially in use with the Chemistry 1 books because having 2 references for information really helps. Well worth the £15 price tag =D
