History at its least dull!5
Adam Hart Davies and his crew are an entertaining group who present many details of historical innovation and discovery by the ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians in lively and informative ways and do demonstrations that give inspiration for home based investigations.
The programmes are aimed at people studying with the Open University (I'm assuming) but both my boys (6 and 15) like the engaging style of delivery. Adam Hart-Davies is so not stuffy and the dialogue is engaging.
I wish I could find the rest of the series on DVD!

As with all Adam Hart-Davis videos they are clear and well presented. His relaxed manner on screen makes everything clear and easy to understand. I recommend you also look at the Cosmos series he presented.
