Clean and to the point, but offers less than reality
A good start, but only a forty minute read. Ask to be an observer for a day at a live court, and you get a better idea than is offered in this book. It's simple, clean to the point, and good starting point. But its information is in cases repetitive, and for a want-to-be magistrate, doesn't appear to offer much more than can be assumed.
excellant, easy to read review of becoming a Magistrate.
This book is easy to read and understand. It gives new Magistates like myself useful tips and thorough explanations of the judical system, making it a useful accompaniment to the training new magistrates undergo. Well done to Megan Harrison JP
