As A driver
I found this book very helpful, I work for a company that covers the whole of the UK, this one book cleared out about 30 other
A to Z's, My only critisiam is the some of the streets are only shown as a number,I found this confusing and the text is a little on the small side, but on the whole a great purchase

Comprehensive but.....
This is a lot of map for your money. It's the size of a substantial telephone directory!

The Street By Street maps aren't the easiest to read. Name placement is sometimes very poor and the digital Ordnance Survey data that the maps are based on hasn't been edited enough to make the mapping clear.

The overall feeling is perhaps that the publisher has gone for quantity rather than quality - which is a shame considering the AA's older mapping (pre Ordnance Survey input) was top quality.
