Product Description

This guide combines bright, modern design, witty and informative writing with a unique and very practical fold-back-flat spiral binding. A collection of readable features set the scene in the introductory Magazine section. "Finding Your Feet" gives that vital info to get you started. Venice is then split into geographical zones. The must-see sights are covered in depth with insider tips to help you make the most of your time and beat the crowds; suggested itineraries, walks and tours, super-clear maps, where to take a break and where to shop are detailed for each area. And to make sure you're not disappointed, specialist food and drink writers recommend the best places to eat and drink.

Customer Reviews

We had many guides but we always returned to this one5
The guide seemed to give us just the right amount of information. We stayed for 6 days and using the 5 area guides really felt that we got to know all of Venice. We walked the walks, felt excited and sometimes a little scared! Its so easy to cross the line between tourist Venice and the desolate and slightly intimidating areas. And by the way, our visit was in January and we would definitely not want to go at any other time!
The restaurant reviews were accurate. We did not expect gourmet and followed the budget recommendations. Its Amsterdam next and the guide is on order.

Patchy3
I've just got back from Venice and the guide book was brilliant for highlighting places to go. However, and I can't stress this enough, the maps were inaccurate and had enormous overlaps on which made it VERY difficult to navigate from. Also the names on the map helpfully donot correspond with the names on the allies. (It does point this out in the guide)
