Worthy of your bookshelf
This book is, as it says, a handbook. It is basically a compilation of information on the use of Complementary Therapies in Pregnancy. It offers straightforward information and advice, plus basic tips on easing some pregnancy symptoms (although most of it you may already know about). Not sure I agree with their prescribed homeopathy doses, would recommend individual consultation. Same advice for Reflexology in Pregnancy, and Acupressure. Books are fine for ideas but if you want practical advice on techniques, visit a therapist who specialises in Pregnancy.
On the whole, not really that 'alternative'! Okay for a quick flick or reference and as it was only a couple of pounds it seemed okay to buy for my bookshelf!
