Could prove to be a popular browse in the library. It could also be the basis of a piece of science research at KS3 or GCSE. It could also support work in PSHE. The text is dense but informative, the illustrations are relatively few but support the text well ... I found the teenager's story of his friend's collapse caused by anaphylactic shock at a roller park equally powerful ... The relevance of the topic to many young people will give the book the audience it deserves. (School Librarian )
