Editorial Reviews
Review
Essentially a demonstration and discussion of common physical signs encountered in clinical surgical practice and was originally aimed at medical students and those in basic surgical training... the comprehensive illustrations offer an excellent resource for those unable to have personal experience of particular conditions. However, the new edition is of major importance for those taking the revised examinations in basic surgical training. The clinical examination in MRCS/AFRCS is dependent on the ability to elicit physical signs and to discuss appropriate differential diagnoses. The new edition will be essential reading for all candidates. -- W H Allum MD FRCS, Consultant Surgeon, Epsom Gener

A downgrade of good textbook
don't buy this book,I am familiar with old editions of this book, they were badly organized but i read them because they contained many good illustrations of physical signs, the new edition has omitted many such good illustrations, when you buy this book you will discover that you need to buy another one written by lumely to read how to do physical exam.!!
