Exceptional text in the field of transfusion science!
An invaluable text written by somenone obviously very in touch with the practice of hospital transfusion science. Although aimed at undergraduates, I found it essential for building basic knowledge as a trainee BMS. A rare, well written, exceptionally understandable book which I'm sure will be of great use throughout my career in biomedical sciences.

Well written and easy to read, with summary boxes and revision questions, great for the trainee or qualified staff for revision or CPD.

highly recommended for technical understanding
very useful for non blood bank people who need to understand groups not commonly found in standard texts
up to date and easy to dip into later if something new requires a better understanding
