Average customer review:Product Description
The current failure rate of veterinary nurses undertaking the Veterinary Nursing examinations Parts 1 and 2 is extremely high, due in part to the fact that there are few suitable study aids available.
These two volumes will prove invaluable practical learning and revision tools for all candidates for these examinations. Based on a selection of past examination papers, they will enable students to build on both their knowledge and their confidence in answering multiple choice questions. In line with the structure of the examination, the books are divided into two parts. Part 1 covers anatomy and physiology, management, hygiene and feeding, first aid, basic hospital practice, theory and practice of nursing. Part 2 is for the final examination and covers medical and surgical nursing, diagnostic aids and poisoning, radiography, anaesthesia, and obstetrical and paediatric nursing.

Customer Reviews
an excellent aid for anyone starting a veterinary career
This book it an excellent aid for anyone starting a veterinary career. It is obviously aimed at veterinary nurses but would also be ideal for anyone wanting some background knowledge.
The style is very helpful because it is in multiple choice which is how the nursing exams are set so it enables you to see how questions may be phrased for when you actually do your exams.
The content is brilliant and covers all areas needed, the layout make it very easy to use as each individual subject has its own section so that you could do the questions from the book as you study them during your course.
I really liked this book and thought that it was a very helpful and useful study aid.
