Editorial Reviews
From the Publisher
This involves the GP or community-based nurse working in conjunction with ambulance service staff, many of whom are now trained and equipped to undertake resuscitation in the community. An enormous growth in the amount of minor surgery undertaken in GPs' surgeries also means that adequate resuscitation facilities are now mandatory. It is also essential that practice teams are equipped and trained to manage anaphylactic shock, especially as the number of immunizations, other injections and procedures carried out in primary care increases.
