A Good all-rounder about anything to so with Space
Very good vaule for money. It covers all aspects of Space from the planets to building your own telescope. It is a great book for kids and contains plenty of information for GCSE. I'm sure many aprés-GCSE people will find it very interesting and informative. A few small topics were not covered or explained in great detail, but... it's up to the usual DK excellence.
One of the best books I never read...
This is one of the best books I've read in my entire life... though I'mjust 32 :-)
Very goog pictures and written descriptions...
I've never been much interested in cosmology but I do love it since Ibought this book.
Right now I'm reading a couple of Stephen Hawking books (tough tounderstand even having a technical degree as I do) and this book helped meout to much easily understand many of the issues Hawking describes aboutfor instance black holes...
By the way, Hawking would have a lot to learn from the authors of thisbook about how to write a didactic book...
This book is great! It has lovely pictures.
This book is Great! It has everything you need to know about Space! The one I got came the cd : Encyclopedia of Space and the Universe! If you are as keen as me to find out the Wonders of Space this is the book for you!
