Couldn't put it down
Bought this book as a staff recmmendation in a bookshop never having read anything by Christopher Fowler before but i will admit it was an excellent and enjoyable experience to read it. Get to the half way mark and see if you can see where the book is headed, bet you don't get it!!, i will be reading more Christopher Fowler from now on

My favourite book
Excellent book, my absolute favourite. I have read it so many times and I still love it. The first half of the book is so exciting and happy you can't put it down and then the second half of the book is so dramatic and nerve racking you can't put it down! A definite recommendation for everyone, even if you're not a big horror fan!!

Even my girlfriend loved it!
This is probably Christopher Fowler's "lightest" novel in that the horror isn't quite as visceral as usual. Instead, he has opted to tell a tale of demonic possession which gradually turns from good to very, very bad. Even my girlfriend read it and thought it was great (praise indeed!) Another winner from Fowler and, if you enjoy it, get "Personal Demons" and read the first story - "Spanky's Back In Town" - for more of the same!
