Brilliant!
This book is brilliant, xtremely hard to put down, the characters and plot are very good, the descriptive writing is of very high standard, although the story line is completely out there, it is a welcome break from any else. I read this book years ago, and since have read it many times again. Brilliant!
My first ever Hutson novel...

After this book, I read every Hutson novel I could find - knockout!
What a load of tosh
This brilliant, imaginative writer normally has me glued to the pages of every single book he has written, but instead of taking me the usual few days to finish, I was more than a week with this one. The plot was going absolutely no where ( when you could figure out what was going on) what the IRA has got to do with an ancient stain glass window I'll never know. The two stories were far too different to ever come together without sounding like a bad joke. No, I'm sorry if I'd have known what I was letting myself in for I would've skipped to the prologue, which incidentally was brilliant,
