Amy is an ex-model and now has her own talk radio show with a popular phone-in slot. People talk about their fantasies mostly, all of which is cheerful stuff until, one night, a man says he fantasises about raping a woman. Meanwhile, two prostitutes are murdered in identical ways with no apparent motive. Then a drug pusher and a down-and-out. The police think someone is on a 'clean-up' campaign. Amy begins to wonder if the man she loves and who lives in the flat beneath her might actually be the murderer as he has always been out on the appropriate nights. Then a hospice is burned down and eleven cancer patients die. It isn't a clean-up campaign but 'mercy killings'. And Amy has discovered she has breast cancer - and the murderer calls her phone-in programme to say she is next.

amazing
i read this book and i couldnt put it down. the suspence catches you and drags you into the story making you feel you are part of it. its the best book i have read, the story is gruesome at times so it isnt for the weak hearted but if you are into horror and suspence this book is for you! i personally think this would make an amazing film and should be. Shaun Hutson is the master of horror. read it and trust me you will love it!

You won't put this down!
This was my second book from Hutson, after exit wounds. This one again didn't let me down, lots of horror, violence, suprises and shocks! Kind of a weird mind game type of book, very eerie when you're reading alone and you really get in to it!

OMIGOD!
I read this over the summer days and nights while on holiday and I STILL was scared stupid, even in the bright daylight. Little things that the killer does really sticks in your mind and that totally engrosses you. Read and enjoy this book like I did!
