Customer Reviews
An excellent, nostalgic read.
This is a lovely book which really captures the nostalgia of the period. It is set in London during the second world war and the story centres around the heroine, Helene, who falls in love with a frenchman stationed in London. It looks as though their love will be thwarted until Helene accepts the offer of joining the Special Operations Executive as a spy and is sent to France. As well as being thoroughly enjoyable, the book is an interesting and exciting read. It is the first book I have read by this author and look forward to reading her other novels.
