Spinning and turning of the wheel3
No doubting, Dave Courtney is a great talker, a great showman. But as for being the self-proclaimed hardest on the streets of London go, it is all showmanship. What of the likes of Roy Shaw's book, Pretty Boy, he doesn'g go round flexing his jaw muscles. Joe Pyle's book Notorious is in stark contrast to this book, a book of the real hard man.

All credit to Dave, he's a great story teller and in a different era he would have outsold the Brothers Grimm, but he will not come close to those in the position of real power by trying to come across as the man on the street with savvy about what is going on.

But that is all Dave is, a story teller. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book, but there is only so much of the same I can take. In person, Dave puts on a great show, but in book form he comes across as one dimensional, but still a nice man.

100% Brilliant5
EXCELLENT STUFF and the best book I have read since Till Death Us Do Part BY Garry Jackson...and that believe me is a TRIBUTE.
Dave Courtney has got to be the best storyteller since Charles Dicken...I have seen his two movies and he is also a great actor.
He would be 100% BTRILLIANT as fictional gangster Harery Harris in the movie version of TILL DEATH US DO PART...
