Pretty formulaic novel
The plotline sounds interesting, and the concept most certainly is; however, the development that is needed for the story to work really well, is lacking. The characters are always rather under-developed, and I could not "feel" for any of them. As a diverting, Summer-holiday read this is spot-on; as a work for any other time of year, then for my money there are better novels.
