Customer Reviews

Not impressed3
I bought this book in the hope it would teach me how to remap an ECU. The book provided a good overview of EMSs and they ways in which they can be modified, but lacked detail in the actual calibration process. Much of the book is filled with text describing the writers project cars which I feel adds little value to it. It also covers topics like tuning inlet manifolds which I beleive has no place in a book like this. While this book does contain a lot of images, very few of them add anything to the book. They consist mostly of tuning products and modified cars, the book has very few technical diagrams that would help explain key concepts.

One of those books which one wants to keep a secret5
A very comprehensive and readable account of the subject. It is not a paint by numbers approach, however; and that means that those who possess a basic knowledge of automobiles will get most benefit from the book.
