Pretty pictures but not much else3
I bought this book expecting to learn about and marvel at snowflakes. Well, the pictures are amazing and there is plenty to marvel at - but I didn't learn much. The book has plenty of photographs of different types of snowflakes interspersed with quotations, but there is little information about the magic of how they're formed.

incredible pictures5
I've been looking for a snowflakes book to give to my daughter for Christmas. Among several books also found on Amazon, this was totally affordable, not too big to carry. Quality of the book excellent, not to talk about the content which is superb.
A great idea for a present to anyone at any age. As mentioned, the pictures a simply stunning.
