Customer Reviews

great layout, well written4
This book was recommended by two of my Anthropology lecturers. It is well layed out dividing into well structured chapters. Each chapter is written by a specialist in the field, and at the end of each chapter there are extra readings to back up or give another viewpoint to what was just read. This book is very good if you want to read articles from various anthropological writer, but you do not want to purchase each of their books. It has really helped me in my degree coursework, and is well worth reading even if you do not need the info for an essay as it broadens your understanding. The chapter by Susan Benson on Bodies and eating disorders is esspecially well written and simple to read.
