It's what you do with it that counts
Well, this was more mini than I expected, weighing in at 2x2x1 inches, so don't go trying to impress anyone! Still, it contains all the important bits from the big kit, so it's an ideal little gift for a patient someone who'd like a stress-relieving bonsai. Contains a pot, peat, seeds, plasticy scissors, and what would be a daunting set of text instructions if it weren't such a small booklet. Doesn't say how long it takes to grow, but I'm fearing the worst - you have to refrigerate the seeds for a week for starters. I've got a lot to learn.

Very interesting
I got this kit around 4 months ago. Out of the seeds two grew but one died and I now have a little two inch tree which is growing slowly but surely.

Follow the instructions EXACTLY, it may sound silly putting the seeds in the fridge but it's to copy the effect of seasons for the seeds, going from cold to warm.

Definately worth a go but don't expect all the seeds to grow!
