About the Author
About the Authors David Elderbrock has worked as a technical consultant and Web application developer. He got his start as an Internet developer at the University of California, Berkeley, where he helped design an online reading and composition database for writing instructors while finishing a PhD in English. Since 1995 he has worked with dot–com startups, small businesses, and large corporations to help them create and manage online applications to facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, and learning. He is the principal author of Building Successful Internet Businesses and a contributing author of Producing Web Hits, both published by Hungry Minds (formerly IDG Books Worldwide). David is founder and principal of Literate Technologies, LLC, located in Madison, Wisconsin. David Karlins is a FrontPage Web designer, consultant, teacher, and the author or co–author of several FrontPage books. David designs Web sites for the art, music, and theater communities, and his ppinet.com Web site provides resources for FrontPage Web developers.
