Easy to follow
Great guide for beginners to pick up the basics of final cut express. May be a bit simple for users wishing to do more advanced things. A great starting point tho!
Plainly useless
This book contains nothing more than the obvious. I can't see how hints like "the speed value of 500 tells FCE to play the clip back at 500 percent, or five time the original speed" be considered "terrific technique" as advertised.
You can read everything in the original manual, with more depth and less wasted words. The clips in the DVD are of very low quality, and you can shot something better even if you are an absolute beginner.

A waste of money for me. I culd find 50 much better tips on YouTube within 5 minutes - and they would be explained better. I wish I had sent it back straight away.
