Best if you have some MapInfo experience
If you are starting from beginning and no experience, the better book is the MapInfo Users Guide from MapInfo. If you are having some experience, this book fills the gaps in your knowledge and makes an easy read and adds information and new capabilities. MapInfo is covered well with respect to features. The companion CD is good enough too.
