Customer Reviews

excellent introduction5
There are a lot of ECG books around and each one has its advantages but Dr. Thaler's book is certainly the one that really helped me to learn recognizing ECG patterns in an orderly fashion.

The text is structured in a logic way, it offers excellent explanations, it contains clinical cases and chapter summeries and it is written in a funny style.

I always had difficulties with interpreting ECGs, but after reading this book, things began to make more sense. To me this book just seemed to be the most instructive.

At the end of his book (page 274) Dr. Thaler advised "[...] And read other books; this may be the only EKG book you will ever need, but it should not be the only one you will ever want to read. There are many outstanding textbooks, each with something special to offer."

I think that is true and I would recommend starting with his book. So if you need to buy your first ECG book, or if you want to buy only 1 book, I think this one would be an excellent choice.
