Brain Death: Deliberations and practices5
This volume presents neurological findings and procedures in a way useful to practioneers. Even more important I find the author's deliberations on why we probably need the concept "brain death", providing guidelines on how to think about death not only as a biological phenomenon. The author's arguments in favor of accepting "brain death", should be helpful by clarifying "death" - including "brain death" for every practioneer faced with the task of approaching and enlightening families and others whose significant others are dying from brain disease or injury. I found this book most useful in my own practice, and so, I strongly believe, will other physicians, nurses, lawyers and spiritual advisers.
