Average customer review:Product Description
This atlas includes full-color photographs of actual cadaver dissections instead of idealized illustrations, to accurately and realistically represent anatomical structures. It is often used by students as an alternative or supplement to their lab experience, and as an introduction to exactly what they should see before they dissect, as well as a study aid before practical/identification exams. It is part of "Doody's Core Titles 2009".

Customer Reviews
This book changed my anatomy!
If like me you have a problem taking information from a textbook and applying it to your dissection this is the book for you. My grades for my anatomy practical exams increased significantly when I used this book to revise, and by reading it before I went into dissect it made life so much easier. I wouldn't use it alone - it really needs to be used with something like Grey's anatomy which backs up the pictures with the information, but definately a book worth buying!
A great resource
This book is one of the best tools when it comes to revising for exams - the photographs are very similar to those used in some medical school written exams so they are a perfect revision aid. However, this should not be used as a replacement for a good anatomical functional knowledge, for which a full anatomy text book is definitely needed!
