Accessible, user-friendly approach to learning Frontpage5
As far as I am concerned, this is the perfect book for learning Frontpage 2000! I browsed, at length, through many different books on Frontpage 2000; none of them seemed to offer the perfect combination of useful information about the program, as well as practical, step-by-step approach regarding how to carry out specific tasks. Some books were better in the former department, while others were better in the latter category. This one does both, and successfully.

The strengths of the book include:

1. Writing Style: the text is written in a very clear, easy-to-understand manner. Furthermore, the enthusiasm of the authors comes across.

2. Structure and organization: the chapters are neatly organised into logical categories. I particularly liked the opening chapter on steps needed to prepare for website creation; I found this to be good, sound practical advice. People who are about to engage in website creation for the first time, will find this chapter useful. Also, the authors refer the reader to many websites, for illustrating particular issues (e.g. good use of frames, graphics, colour, etc).

3. Easy-to-follow instructions.

4. Breadth of coverage: the book covers a wide variety of topics, thus making it suitable for both beginners and intermediate users (for people who are really hot on the program, there is a "Premium" edition which includes additional chapters).

Overall, its accessibility, user-friendiless and cook-book procedures make it suitable for all. You can even read it in bed without getting intimidated! Now, how often can you say this about computer books?

Practical, clear and easy-to-follow advice.5
As a student completing an HND I needed sound advice to help me build two websites. Having never built one before I found this quite daunting. I borrowed this book from the college library and have been 'hogging it' for the last three months.

I have had great feedback from the charity I designed one of the web sites for and it is due in no small measure to this book.

I intend to continue to build web sites when I complete my course in a couple of weeks and am buying this book as it is as good as any computing reference book I have read in the last two years.

The most concise, easy to follow manual on Front Page 2000 -5
There are many books on the market for FrontPage 2000, none like this though. It is easy to follow with clear instructions on everything you need to know, and more!

This book covers topics that others don't AND in more detail. I would recommend this book to any FrontPage 2000 user, it is a reference that you will keep going back to and you certainly wont leave it too far from your side!
