Customer Reviews
in a word... invaluable!!
If access can do it, it's in this book. A complete developers reference with bells on!
From the basics of the Access Object model, to more complex DAO/ADO functions to VBA Class Modules. Endless pages of real world useable code that works.
If you're after an Access tutorial, this book is probably not for you (Try Access 2002 Bible), but if you're an intermediate/advanced user with a thirst for development knowledge this book is a must have.
Expensive, but worth every penny.
The Best Gets Better...
The best technical book ever written has exceeded even it's own high standards in this latest edition.
As usual, it's crammed with information, tips and techniques, with the customary easy-to-follow organisation and brilliant, immediately usable examples and implementations. Best of all, though, is the extensively-enhanced material on SQL Server. Those Access developers who can't resist getting stuck into SQL Server and ADP will now find that they can save their money: no need to gamble on some expensive SQL Server doorstop! The ADH combined with Books Online will get you a very long way.
If you're serious about Access 2002, you MUST have this book.
