Product Description

There are two sides to every story. You've heard Thor's - now it's time to hear Loki's. Odin's least favorite son rewrites Asgardian lore from his perspective in this groundbreaking collection, featuring the breathtaking painted artwork of Esad Ribic (Wolverine). In this story, Loki's insatiable lust for power, his conflicted sentiments toward Sif, his antipathy toward Balder, and his deep-seated feelings of longing and resentment toward his older brother, Thor, and uncaring father, Odin, will take on new meaning. And if that's not enough, just stare at the lush painted art by Ribic - you won't be disappointed!

Outstanding!5
Fantastically inventive writing and incredible painted art make this one of my most treasured Marvel Hardcovers.

The story revolves around Loki having finally taken over Asgard and imprisoning his enemies. he schedules Thor for execution. Will he change his mind before Thor frees himself and seeks vengeance?

Comics and Thor don't get any better than this!

beautiful art, interesting story.5
Thor is really just a bit part player in this and as i'm not the greatest fan of Thor to begin with, i still found this a great read. This is mainly due to the work of Esad Ribic who has to be one of the best painters in the comic world but doesn't get the credit he's due. Loki quickly comes to realise that being lord of the manor isn't quite all the fun and games he was expecting as he's forced to deal with mundane day to day problems of his people. Still, the artwork alone is of 5 star quality and the story ain't bad either.
