outstanding
The DragonLance saga was My absolute favourite reading experience. It took me about a few weeks to finish the chronicles, and then came along the day of tempest which expanded upon that, it took me less than a week to plough through this as I was unable to put it down. It's great! The Chronicles were wonderful, but TDoT was one of the most absolutely wonderful outstanding fantasy books I've ever read. A lot of people would see it as a continuation of something that could never truly end. Jean Rabe wrote this book that truly expands on the son's of the main character's, it was beautifully written with some deep symbolism that can be connected directly back with our world, and therefore it was something most fantasy books aren't, there was more to the story than just fighting and killing, it made some really good statements about what is wrong with all worlds, not just Krynn. Anyone who didn't like this book is obviously more interested in the bash 'em smash 'em side of fantasy and not the deeper, more symbolic and poetic parts. This was the best and most outstanding piece of fantasy literature I've read lately and is truly worth it's price.
