Contains a fine retelling of the story plus so much more.
I teach my children at home and I just love the entire DK Classics collection. King Arthur, however, is my favorite. It contains the story which everyone is familiar with and much more. The book also examines the times which the King Arthur legend came from and examines questions like 'Was King Arhtur a real person and if so, where might Camelot have been?' All of the DK Classics are also beautiful illustrated. I've invested in hardcover versions because I know they will be read again and again.

King Arthur
This king Arthur book is amazing, the drawings are beautiful and Arthur is just as I would imagine him, I love good picture books and although this is aimed at children as an adult King Arthur fan I think this is one of my best King Arthur books as it summarises the "Mallory" version of the legends and the art work is just perfect, I love a book with pictures.
