Product Description

For the first time ever, come face to face with the ancient boy king Tutankhamun, who has captivated us since his tombe was discovered more than 80 years ago. Celebrating their new tour of Europe and coming to the O2 Centre in November for the first time in nearly 30 years, National Geographic presents this tiny jewel of a book featuring some of the finest pieces from a priceless collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Captured in lavish detail and sumptuous colour, here are objects dating back to the reigns and tombs of such fabled kings and queens as Akhenaten, Nefertiti, and, of course, Tutankhamun. Text is by Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities - one the world's foremost authorities on the subject of King Tut. A charming momento of this astonishing exhibition from National Geographic.

Customer Reviews

Buy from Amazon, not the o2 Exhibition4
I bought this book at the o2 Exhibition for £12, as i was under the impression that it was restricted sale, how wrong I was and now £7 poorer.

If you've been to the shop at the o2 and gone gulp at the prices, just search for Tutankhamun's shop.
