Read any Brennan Manning books you can get your hands on.
I first encountered Brennan Manning at Cross Rhythms festival at the Gilead Foundation in North Devon. He was preaching in one of the side tents and I wandered in and sat on the damp grass to listen to him. I am so glad that I did, as he talked about 'the furious love' that God has for us, that God just loves us, not because of anything we have done right because none of us have got it right, I found myself quietly weeping. As I looked around, so were many others in the tent. He has a real understanding of God's grace. So, if you haven't read any of his books, start now,and visit cross rhythms website for the tapes from 1997.
