Customer Reviews
A slightly snobbish theological history.
Ramm has a fine palate for theology, but easily descends into snobbery. This book provides an enlightening history of Evangelical theology that would benefit all theology undergraduates. It contains excellent critiques of both Liberalism and Neo-Orthodoxy.
However, it would have been better had it given more attention to Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox theology.
Ramm need to define 'Fundamentalism' a little better; I was unhappy with his discussion of that subject. It also makes prejudiced and dismissive comments about popular eschatological literature.
