BEWITCHING BOOK!
This is one of my favourite books.The poems starting each chapter of the book are so inspiring and witchy.Not only does it contain all the basics that new witches need to know,like tools,casting the circle,the rede,properties of herbs and crystals but also contains great imformation on divination using the Tarot and other systems which is relatively unusual in most witchcraft books.Sister moon also gives rituals for the sabbats and esbats as well as for initiation and handfasting.Two things I feel I shold mention;Sister moon in the book says that she believes in the Goddess and God and the Devil,most wiccans don't believe in the Devil and see good and bad as being both a part of the Goddess and God,everyone's free to their own beliefs ,so don't let it put you off this great book.Also she lists oils you can buy from occult shops and their properties,which is actually good cause when you go into an occult shop there's usually mysteriously titled oils[E.g.cleo may,blue dragon,dove's flight]and now you can actually know what to use them for!Witches looking for recipes for oils should read Scott Cunningham's excellent book "The complete book of incense,oils and brews". I can't wait to read Sister moon's next book.Anyone wanting to become a witch should definitely read this book.Well done,Sister moon
