A Christian classic by one of Norway's (late) great men of God. This small, lucidly written book reveals what prayer is all about, written by someone who practised prayer, loved prayer and thoroughly understood it. This book transformed my prayer life and I always recommend it to those who wish to understand more about this subject. Around a million copies of this book have been sold and I praise God for what He has revealed through Ole Hallesby's work.

This is one of the absolutely best books on prayer, simple, humble and practical. Read it. Try too Wandering Between Two Worlds by Anita Mathias, esp. the essay Writing and Prayer

Prayer by Prof Ole Hallesby
This book on prayer remains the classic which I first read in the late 50's. It deals honestly and perceptively with many issues, including questions which tend to bother us. The book is written in a simple child-like way (not childish!) and for many years has proved a great help and encouragement to many people who wished to improve and deepen their prayer life.
