Customer Reviews
This book gets you started right away.
I started getting creditable watercolours soon after reading this lovely book. My confidence went up and up the more I used the techniques described so well by the author. I can recommend this book to any budding artist.
Beautiful watercolours by a completely different approach.
This is a beautiful book with lots of examples and in depth explaination of the simple techniques needed to create the effect. The artist has great vision and her paintings are lovely. I have tried some of the techniques and found some worked for me and some didnt but I would certainly recommend this book for beginners and established painters alike who may find some techniques helpful. I am unfortunately not as creative as the author. Well not yet, but practise makes perfect.
Bravo, Nita! The best instruction book on watercolors .
At long last one of the world's greatest watercolor artists has published a book that reveals all of her secrets. I highly recommend this book to anyone (beginner to advanced)who works in this media. Her illustrations and instructions are like nothing I have seen before. Her style allows watercolors to paint themselves and they do with natural results. She has been copied by many artists without the recognition she so rightly deserves. This book should be in every artist's library. She has changed my method of painting which has led to great results. I can't wait for her next book.
