Great information4
This book is great for anyone trying to gain a better understanding of just what artist management involves. I had only a limited knowledge of the subject and learned a great deal from this book.

I would definitely recommend it!

Superb5
This book is absolutely excellent. It gives the detail we, as artists and managers, need to know--and it is given with clarity. I was also searching for a general book on management and found one that easily complements this superb book by these two experts. I also recommend a recently released and well-regarded book on leadership that is applicable to our industry---------it teaches us how to act and think like managers and leaders and take charge and responsibility when needed over our (as artists) or our clients' (if we are in management) careers. This outstanding and beautiful book is called "The Leader's Guide: 15 Essential Skills."

"A realistic view of the industry and the artist."4
I thought it was a good reference for the beginner. I felt that for such an extensive topic, the authors were able to convey the subject matter objectively and precisely without inundating the reader with meticulous explainations. I have referenced this book countless times since I purchased it, and I feel that it is an asset to my library.
