Average customer review:Product Description
This wonderfully accessible and practical guide provides a range of effective strategies for teaching drama. Written with her usual practicality, humour and optimism, Sue Cowley demonstrates how drama can make lessons across the curriculum more interesting and engaging. This fascinating guide is aimed both at the specialist drama teacher and at those who are interested in using drama to help them deliver other areas of the curriculum. It will also be particularly helpful to staff at primary level who have found themselves lumbered with "putting on the school play"!

Customer Reviews
Great addition to my library
Sue Cowley's books are always good. They are practical and very useable! I work in an SEBD school and have also worked in mainstream education - this book was useful in both settings.
There are ideas you lift straight from the page and others that will prompt you to try something different, developing it into your own. Her explanation of how drama helps and supports students is useful if you need to justify your subject in development plans or provide a summary in a school brochure/prospectus.
I would think you could easily use it in primary school and I use it across all ages in secondary. Suitable for beginners and also experienced teachers who need fresh ideas.
