Customer Reviews
Good, but something is missing.
This book presents some in-deph arguments for three posistions- Post-Mortem Evangelization (the heathen get a second-chance), Inclusivism (the heathen are saved through faith in God expressed through their false religions) and Restrictivism (the heathen receive no chance of salvation except through the preaching of the gospel).
However, the book is flawed by the absence of a major view- Universal Opportunism (all receive a chance of salvation before death through a dream or vision if they have not heard the gospel). This view is mentioned in the introduction and the chart of views, but is not represented by the essay of an author who holds that view.
The book is also problematic in that it avoids discussing the crucial issue of election. Calvinism is implicit in Nash's arguments but is not discussed.
