The best encyclopedia for the aircraft of the RAF
This book is the most comprehensive encyclopedia for the RAF aircraft. If you are an enthusiast for aircraft, you had better read this old masterpiece. You can easily understand all aircraft of the RAF.
Aircraft history and data: RAF etc
A first-class reference book, with superb photographs, authoritative descriptions and detailed line diagrams of all types flown (or discarded) by the RFC and RAF since the 'invention' of aeroplanes as a weapon of war. This ninth, 1995, hard-back edition is still on good-quality paper with sharp graphics and has easier-to-read text than earlier editions. For anyone interested in aircraft types, and identifying that old, slow-flying veteran that drones overhead, this is an excellent source of satisfaction and salute to those magnificent men who designed and flew their fragile machines. Modern jets are included for the kerosene junkies amongst our ranks.
