Bellona, built in 1760, was one of the earliest and most successful British examples of a 74-gun ship. This book provides documentation of the ship through a complete set of line drawings, offering a novel insight into ship design and construction.

Customer Reviews
Good, but too large a ship for the size of the book
Another beautiful book of the anatomy of the ship series. However, if you are interested in 18th century ships better go for the Bounty and the Pandora, those books have much more detail, which is normal as the size of the books is the same and the ships represented being smaller there is plenty of detail. Also have a look at Stephen Biesty Men-o-war cross sections, although it is a book for kids the amount of information there, not just about the ship, but about the daily life of the crew, is huge.
