The distinguished career of the carrier Victorious extended from World War II to 1967. A major refit during the 1950's, saw her emerge as the Royal Navy's most advanced carrier in the world. About the Author
After leaving the Navy in 1981, Ross Watton trained as a technical illustrator at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art. He is also the author of Battleship Warspite.

This book is a must to have for every shipmodeller or enthusiast of british aircraft carriers. The entire lifetime (WWII + postwar) is covered with detailed plans and diagrams. All technical details like catapult, elevator and arrestor gear - even the planes which were embarked - are shown. A book to browse through - a detailed reference guide.
