If you need one reference book on the shelf that refers to the managment side of church - then this is it. It is well laid out and easy to find your way around the sections. From dealing with PCC's, to contracts for an organist it is all here. A good book for new members of PCC or new wardens.

This book has already proved to be invaluable.
As a newly appointed Secretary to our PCC I needed help and advice as we were in interregnum.

A beginners perspective.
We bought this book as it was recommended to us by Church Wardens locally. Reading it is very straightforward, and we soon grasped many important points. There is a wealth of knowledge and subjects are covered in a very clear and concise manner. The author clearly knows the subject inside out and is very articulate in the whole presentation and format. We can thoroughly recommend this book to both relative newcommers to Church management, and to more experienced people who will find it invaluable as a reference.
