Customer Reviews
I hope there is going to be a new edition soon
Most criminal law practitioners rely exclusively on Archbold or Blackstones 99% of the time. Whilst both are excellent, they are certainly not exhaustive. For me, Hirst on Evidence provides answers to the awkward bits of law, that often gives authority to your "gut feeling" on a point of law. It's extremely readable, very authoritative, and good value for money. My only criticism is that it is about time for a new edition. After Archbold, it is the book I use most, and I can confidently say this book has won cases for me.
