About the Author
Richard Bolton is a professional watercolour artist who enjoys travelling and painting. He has written a number of successful art books, his most recent being published in Chinese after he had recorded his visit to Tai Wan with a series of inspirational watercolour pictures. He works from his studio in Cambridgeshire, where he lives with his wife and family. Some of his paintings reflect the countryside around his home, although he loves travelling widely in search of inspiration.

Customer Reviews

Is the title of the book accurate?4
Yes, Richard Bolton's book is full of useful tips. Several pages are devoted to basics, what materials to use, then moves on to techniques, perspective and lots more. It's definitely a book for beginners but it covers a lot more; certainly the more advanced watercolour painter would find this book useful.
