A must for Apes fans.
A fantastically detailed look at all the original Apes films with a wealth of interviews, reviews and summaries of the film plots. There are also in depth looks at unfilmed screenplays, such as Pierre Boulle's 'Planet of the Men'. Another inclusion is the essential and very detailed Apes timeline. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that there are no pictures, not one! This is unfortunately due to 20th Century Fox denying permission for pictures from the original films/TV series to be used in the run up to the 're-imagining' of 'Planet of the Apes' in the new Tim Burton movie. This complaint should not however be directed at the author, Paul A Woods, who has otherwise produced a tantalisingly detailed book which is a must for all Apes' fans.
