Excellent book using practical, real life material.5
A practical up to date self-help book for survivors of child sexual abuse. It focuses on the findings of the therapists using real life writings of their clients different feelings and situations. This makes it very accessible to the lay person and professional alike. It offers survivors strategies for coping and obtaining support when embarking on breaking free from their past, which can be very upsetting and painful. It also helps anyone who wants to gain more understanding of the issues that face people who have been sexually abused and how to overcome them. An excellent resource book which should be found in every library and book store.

Informative, down to earth guide for survivors of abuse5
This book is excellent. It contains straightforward and down-to-earth information and support for people who have survived childhood sexual abuse. The exercises in the book provide a structure that is really helpful and guides the person along the process of working through and understanding the effects that sexual abuse can have on individuals and then thinking about how to change. As a mental health professional I have found it extremely useful and informative in my work with survivors.

Once And A While5
One and a while a book will come along that will change the perception you have for yourself. In this case, my own case, a child of sexual abuse-I was fortunate enough to find several books that have helped me to understand, learn and grow past the abuse. Those books are: "Breaking Free: Help for Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse", "Nightmares Echo" and "Courage To Heal".
If you want your life to change, even if you have not been abused but suspect of someone that may have been-It's time to read these books!
